USEFUL REMEDIES
Useful remedies is about two aspects of personal health: 1. natural substances to treat human health issues and 2. Natural therapies which have been shown to be effective as reported in the industry’s publications. Useful remedies focuses only on some of those frequently reported health issues which many of us have such as high blood pressure, menopause, baldness, erectile dysfunction, diabetes, arthritis, high total cholesterol and chelation therapy. Brief History During the time period prior to Hippocratic Greece (460 BC), illness was more than likely attributed to superstitions and supernatural forces. The most likely belief system was that disease is the result of something other than natural causes and, therefore, should be treated with faith and psychic healing. Useful remedies in western history most likely started in ancient Greece where the two pillars of medicine, prevention and treatment, came to life. Prevention was largely esoteric up until modern times (1600’s) where Physicians primarily practiced to enhance their social class. Treatment of ills was furnished by a “healer” as a necessity employing useful remedies. A great example is the curing of the Countess of Chinchon of a terrible fever while visiting Peru in 1638 using the bark of the Quina tree, one of the useful remedies of the day. The Desire for Natural Useful remedies believes there is a strong desire in most humans to treat their body naturally. Many new drugs, which are effective in treating a specific health condition, have been formulated and brought to bear in the medical arena in recent years. Although we are thankful for many of these, immediate side effects and the unknown chemical summation on the human body after years of usage cause most of us to wish for useful remedies instead. The human need to be free of worry about the cumulative effect of the drug treatment may be as strong as the desire to be free of the health condition needing treatment. Purchasing Natural Substances as Remedies When purchasing useful remedies, do not in the name of economy, initially buy 5 bottles of a substance rather than 1. Buy just enough to give yourself a fair test as to the substance’s effectiveness on your body. Some useful remedies are effective in treating some people and not others. A substance which you wish to try may be packaged in a capsule form along with safe well known filler materials such as vitamins. These fillers are not considered useful remedies and will probably not help your condition but will increase the product price. Some Easy Choices There are easy choices for useful remedies just waiting for you to try. For example, assume you have slightly elevated blood pressure and are approaching your late 40’s. How about consuming 4 sticks of celery per day, one of the least known useful remedies, (link to one of our site pages) in an effort to lower your pressure 20 to 30 points? Know your pressure before you start and give yourself several weeks of enjoying celery before you check the results. Suppose you are a woman suffering from menopausal symptoms. Why not try some useful remedies and start a regimen of Black Cohosh and Dong Quai (link to one of our site pages) along with a healthy diet and regular exercise. The ingredients are natural and are not known to have side effects including long-term. Give this regimen a few weeks to make a difference in how you feel. CAUTION This is all about using natural substances to treat human health issues. Consult your doctor or pharmacist, however, if you are taking other medication to rule out any unwanted conflicts. Useful remedies should be just that….useful and natural. |
